Suzuka Circuit

Suzuka is the only figure-eight circuit on the calendar, designed by John Hugenholtz and opened in 1962 with a signature crossover bridge. The lap offers no recovery section: riders flow through the fast Esses (Turns 3–7), the Degner Curves named for a rider who crashed there in 1962, and 130R — a sweeping left-hander that demands full commitment above 300 km/h.
